Marketing Team Review

What marketing help
should you add next?

I review the workload, skills and results with you and your first marketer. Over three weeks, we decide whether you need an employee, a specialist or different priorities, and I write one brief defining the new role or revised responsibilities.

Guide price: €2,500–€3,500 for three weeks.

When this helps.

Marketing has an owner, but important work is waiting, specialist tasks consume too much time, or the next priority needs skills the team does not have.

What we’ll work through

  • Which work produces value, and which work should stop?
  • Is the work waiting because of limited time, missing skills, unclear priorities or slow approvals?
  • Do you need an employee, a specialist for a defined project, or a different division of the work?

The work

Find the gap.
Define the help it needs.

01

Inspect the current workload

Review what the marketer spends time on, the results, work waiting to happen, and support already available. Use real projects to find what is holding the work up.

02

Decide what help to add

Work out whether the marketer needs more time, different skills or help choosing priorities. Compare a hire, a specialist, and a change in priorities against the work and resources available.

03

Define the responsibilities

Write one brief for the new role or specialist, with responsibilities, required support and assessment criteria. If no addition is needed, the brief defines revised responsibilities for the existing marketer.

What you receive.

Two workshops, one brief, a division of responsibilities and one revision round over three weeks. Candidate assessment and recruitment are outside this block.

  • A view of the current workload and the gap that matters most.
  • A recommendation for the next addition—or a decision to reprioritise.
  • One brief: a new role or specialist, or revised responsibilities for the existing marketer.
  • A clear division of work, whether or not you add someone.

Your part in the work

You and the first marketer bring the working plan, recent outputs, and a realistic view of time and budget. We use those to make the next decision together.

The commitment

This helps you decide whether to add someone and define the work either way. If the first appointment has failed and you need a replacement, begin with First Marketing Hire Reset.

One way this could look

Another strategist—or help getting the work out?

Suppose your marketer has a good campaign plan and writes well, but spends much of the week formatting assets and building pages. Production help could free them to do the work you hired them for. If they’re struggling to choose the audience or plan the campaign, we’d look for different support.
