Before and after the hire

First Marketing
Hire & Support

€9,000–€12,000total · payments in three stages

Choose the person.

  • A role brief, priorities and selection criteria grounded in your customer and company evidence.
  • Review of up to four shortlisted candidates’ work and participation in up to three interviews.
  • A starting plan, clear responsibilities and practical expectations.

Then get to work together.

  • Twelve weeks of support after they start: six working sessions and one written feedback round each week.
  • One hands-on marketing workstream: for example, messaging and homepage copy for one audience, or a campaign brief, landing page and three-email sequence.
  • Up to three customer interviews arranged by you, and two revision rounds on the main asset.

Timing. A twelve-week pre-hire window, followed by twelve weeks after the agreed start date. A delayed hire means we agree new dates and availability; there is no automatic holding retainer.

Payment. 35% at kickoff, 35% when your marketer starts and 30% six weeks into post-hire support.

Your part. You handle sourcing, recruitment administration and the employment decision. You and your marketer bring access, decisions and production support.

Already chosen
your marketer?

€6,000–€8,000total · twelve weeks

Begin with a review of the preparation you already have, a starting plan and the same twelve weeks of post-hire support described above. Role design and candidate assessment are omitted.

One agreed workstream, six working sessions, weekly written feedback, up to three customer interviews and two revision rounds. Payment: 50% at kickoff and 50% at week six.

Use the good work you already have.

During a transition

Interim
Marketing Lead

€3,500–€5,000per month · two months initially

An agreed marketing priority with someone responsible for moving it forward while you prepare to hire, search or wait for a start date.

  • A named priority, weekly working session and selected core marketing work.
  • Direction and review for the specialists involved, plus a handover to your incoming marketer.
  • Roughly three to four delivery days per month, with the work and availability agreed in advance.

Initial commitment. €7,000–€10,000 over two months, billed monthly in advance. Review at week six; extra months require a new agreement.

Outside the fee. Design, development, media buying, routine publishing and external production budgets.

When the first appointment is struggling

First Marketing
Hire Reset

€3,500–€5,000total · six weeks

Understand the problem from both sides, make an initial correction and review what happens.

  • Review the role, recent work, priorities, resources and working relationship with the founder and marketer.
  • Four working sessions and one agreed correction implemented together, with two revision rounds.
  • A closing review and clear recommendations for what happens next.

Payment. 50% at kickoff and 50% after the diagnosis and agreed correction plan.

Boundary. This is a focused intervention, not a replacement search or an employment investigation. Further implementation is separately scoped.

Before you add more capacity

Second-Hire
Team Shape

€2,500–€3,500total · three weeks

  • Review workload, capabilities, recent results and the gap that matters most.
  • Two workshops, a recommendation to add capacity or reprioritise, and one role or specialist brief.
  • A division of responsibilities and one revision round.

Payment. 50% at kickoff and 50% at delivery.

Boundary. Candidate assessment and recruitment are outside this block. If the first appointment has failed, start with Reset.

The practical terms

Clear on both sides.

What moves the price within the range?

The evidence already available and the coordination the work needs. The lower end assumes usable customer material, one decision-maker and a straightforward role. More reconstruction or stakeholder coordination can move it upward. Multiple markets, multiple roles or a whole website need a different written scope.

What if the hiring date changes?

We agree revised dates and reconfirm availability. There is no automatic holding fee. If you stop hiring, we agree a close-out against completed milestones; undelivered post-hire work is not charged. A long pause may change when I can resume.

Will we pay twice for the same work?

No. If Reset or Interim leads into the main engagement, we reuse the usable research, brief and plan and deduct the itemised fee for any deliverable otherwise billed again. Completed leadership or corrective work is not a blanket credit. Overlapping work and meetings are allocated once in a combined proposal.

What if the scope changes?

We replace an agreed priority or quote the additional work before starting. Extra markets, production work and further campaigns are not silently added. Your paid work remains yours to use.

What is excluded from these prices?

VAT where applicable; recruitment fees and administration; design and development; ad spend; third-party tools and production. There is no placement or success fee. No automatic renewal.

These ranges are a guide to the scope of each engagement. The final scope, fee, timing and cancellation terms belong in the written agreement.
