Agree the question
A kickoff and up to two internal conversations. We agree the decision, the buyer group and the existing evidence I’ll review, so the interviews don’t repeat what you already know.
Customer Research & Recommendations
You hear the objections on sales calls. Some customers buy quickly; others disappear after what felt like a good conversation. You have explanations, but you’d like something firmer to base the next decision on.
We agree one question to investigate, then I speak to six buyers you introduce. I look at what happened in their decision, compare what they tell me and recommend what you could change or test next.
Guide price: €3,500–€5,000 fixed project fee. Indicatively three to five weeks.
See the scope, timing and payment terms. Excludes VAT where applicable and external costs. The written proposal confirms the exact scope, fee and dates.
Good. Bring what you’ve learned.
A sales conversation may explain why one person bought. Support may know what keeps going wrong. You may have a strong hunch about why a promising prospect disappeared. We’ll look at those together and decide what the interviews still need to uncover.
My job is to investigate the question carefully, compare what people tell us and work through what it means for your decision. You get the findings, the evidence behind them and recommendations you can use.
Perhaps you’re changing the offer, trying to understand why a particular buyer hesitates, or deciding what the website needs to explain. We’ll keep the research focused on that decision, one offer and one buyer group.
The work
A kickoff and up to two internal conversations. We agree the decision, the buyer group and the existing evidence I’ll review, so the interviews don’t repeat what you already know.
Six new 45–60 minute interviews with buyers you introduce. I prepare the interview guide, handle scheduling, conduct the interviews and do the analysis.
Findings with the evidence behind them, then a 60–90 minute working session on what to change or test next.
If you want help turning the findings into messaging and website copy, we can discuss that separately. Your team can also use the recommendations themselves.
Indicatively three to five weeks, depending on participant availability and the agreed start. Dates are confirmed in the proposal. Payment is 50% at kickoff and 50% at handover.
You introduce interview participants and supply the source material we agree to review. External participant recruitment, incentives, translation, surveys or statistical studies, segmentation, and implementation or copywriting are scoped separately.
Related work and approach.
We agree the decision before the interviews. Perhaps you need to understand why prospects hesitate, what makes customers choose you, or which part of the offer needs explaining better.
I’ll bring the findings back to that question, recommend what to change or test and work through the reasoning with you. You also get the buyer language behind the findings. Your team can use the work without booking another service from me.
For some questions, six careful conversations can give us useful things to work with. We can examine what prompted someone to look, what they considered, what nearly stopped them and why they decided as they did.
Six interviews won’t tell us how common an opinion is across your market. That’s why we keep this project to one decision, one offer and one buyer group. If your question needs a broader study, I’ll explain that before we start.
Then that belongs in the findings too. I’ll show you where the accounts differ, what supports each explanation and what we still don’t know.
We’ll work through what you can reasonably decide now and what needs another check. I won’t smooth away the inconvenient bits to make the presentation easier.
People who have experience of the decision we’re trying to understand. That might be recent customers, lost prospects or people who considered your offer and chose something else.
We agree one buyer group and choose participants whose experience is relevant. Your happiest customers may have useful things to say, but they won’t necessarily explain why someone walked away.
You introduce the participants. I prepare the questions, arrange the conversations, conduct the six interviews and do the analysis. Each interview takes about forty-five to sixty minutes.
If you need external participant recruitment or incentives, we’ll discuss those separately. They aren’t included in the project fee.
Tell me the decision you need to make
and what you already know about your buyers.
A 30-minute conversation with me.
